An out-feed table Finally

I’ve wanted an out-feed table ever since I got my first table saw 10 years ago, but for one reason or another I never made one. Now That I’m on my second saw, I made having an out-feed table mandatory. Over the last 3 weeks I put other projects aside, and even skipped mowing the yard one weekend so that I had time to build a table.

The only real requirement I had for the table was that it was easily storable, because I still need to get two cars in the garage in case of bad weather. Since I didn’t want to spend a ton of money, I decided to make it out of two layers of MDF edge-banded with SYP, and faced top & bottom with Formica. The table is 50 inches long by 26 inches wide and just a tab over 1.5 inches thick. It’s attached to the saw with a 4 foot piano hinge. The legs are made with door hinges, leg brackets, and lifting bolts.
